Upholstery Cleaning Codes

Care instructions for Montego, our USA-made, 100% nylon, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 - certified nontoxic fabric are as follows:

1. Remove excess soiling immediately.

2. Blot area with dry cloth.

3. To remove remaining stain, spray a list mist of soap and water solution and rub gently in a circular motion with a clean cloth or toothbrush so not to damage the pile. Work from the edges to the center to avoid a halo effect.

4. Pat dry with cloth.

5. When dry, use a sot brush to regain fabric's smooth feel.

Generally speaking, food and stains don't stick to this material.

All other fabric patterns with cleaning codes must be professionally cleaned. We caution all consumers against the possibility that an over the counter cleaner used for spot cleaning may work, but extra care must be taken to remove all moisture from the fabric after cleaning, so that the backing (on most fabrics) does not deteriorate and weaken the fabric.

Any consumer cleaning of fabric (not performed by a professional upholstery cleaning service) voids the factory's 1 year fabric warranty, and the after market protection policies we sell (Guardian, Crypton Addvantage, etc.)
