Custom Seating - to an extent
The Condo Sofa collection was designed by us specifically to be modified. It's made for us by Temple in Maiden, NC. Together, over the last two decades, we've developed styles that can be modified in the CAD system, but certain designs are restricted from changes that would involve the proper mounting of mechanism that aid in motion, like a recliner, a sleeper sofa, and in some cases, swivel glider chairs.
Style changes like arm shape & thickness, cushion firmness, number of cushions on the back or seat, etc are less likely to be rejected by the factory.
On principle, we will not entertain requests to
-modify the seating width on any sleeper sofa by adding plywood beyond the support of the sleeper mechanism on the sides
-recommend/advise center-of-gravity changes to a rocker, recliner or swivel glider (includes sizable change to back height and overall width) for safety reasons
-modify inside or overall depth of a sleeper (front to back)
